I am amidst great confusion of applying to b schools. Please do help me selecting the cols out of the ones I have listed below. I am not sure how much percentile I will get in CAT( attempted (12 + 19 = 31 q with 95% accuracy). Still waiting to write XAT & SNAP.Please do not arrange the colleges but help me select 5 from it. Do select the top most- medium - okay rated colleges as I am not ready to take risk depending on CAT scores.1) FMS2) JBIMS3) XLRI4) XIME5) SP Jain6) BIMTECH7) LIBA8) Amrita9) XIMB
Out of this list the ones that I would personally prefer are FMS,JBIMS,XLRI,SP Jain and XIMB...
@ankur123xyz Thank you But all these are top rated colleges. What if my CAT score is not as expected. Should I consider any of the other B rated colleges mentioned in the list. If so, which all? Please do assist.
Hey am expecting a raw score of 90-95.. my section 1 was really tough but section 2 was relatively easy so i am not sure if normalization would be helpful!! What %ile can i expect and if i start applying after cat results will it be too late?? Also am a fresher and have been advised its better to do mba preferably after 2-3 years of work experience... I dint prepare for cat this year, just gave for the sake of it, and am in no rush to do mba but i do want to do it at some point of time.... Have been hearing advices of all kinds but i made it clear to everyone am not doing mba next year... Just need to be sure of my decision from someone experienced... Advice.. Thanks in advance!!
i ve given CAT on 25 th october ...ive attempted 26 questions in quant ...in which atleast 22 questions are correct( checked with my mates)...and in Verbal ive attempted 28 ..in which i xpect atleast 21 (6 rc + 9lr + 3 PJS +1 IDIOM +1 SENTENCE CORRECTION+I FIB) should be correct...what percentile should i xpect and which bschools should i apply to??wondering about an unknown normalization thing!!ive never had any idea and never thought about percentile..jus worked hard...used to get 95% on an avg in aimcats ...please suggest me..

My slot was on 19th Oct (3:15PM)..The Paper was moderate to tough.I attempted 11 in QA(8-9 correct),19 in VA(13-14 correct)...please tell how much can I expect...please suggest some colleges....Thnx & Regards

I would be more specific in question and i guess there would be many who would want this answer... Does work experience help?? Is there any advantages of being a fresher?? Not regarding selections but during the course,, does it lead to better understanding of the subjects?? I read an interview of one of the co-founders of tzinga and he says so!! I know its my decision in the end but the truth is i don't know a thing about mba compared to so many guys who have been there done that.. And am all ears to hear what they have to say!!
