Yes, you can expect. Cut Off's are a bit lower for OBC Category.

For IMT, you need to apply only once.

For XIMB, there is some extra charge for separate course/exam.. !!

FMS-DU is under Delhi University and FMS-BHU is under Banaras Hindu University!

@singh15 Depending on your expected CAT score, you can filter out few institutes, and then check in the individual threads for those to know further about weightage for acads, work exp etc.

@binny1280 Almost all major B-schools in top 40 offer Operations as a specialization. So you can choose to study Operations related subjects in 2nd year. The placements in such profiles may differ for each institute. You'll have to check the placement brochure or ask seniors in particular institute to know more!

TAPMI has a decent program in Health Care MGMT with a PGDM certificate. Kindly go through it's thread for reviews and selection process. They accept even MAT for that course..

If you are serious about Operations, you got to do it at SPJIMR or NITIE. They set very high standards when it comes to Operations..

There are several colleges that offer Operations but are not that effective.

Hello Seniors!


I have given my CAT on 25th OCT morning slot with 18A in sec-1 and 26A in sec-2.
Reading the previous post,all I can say is that my CAT %ile will range from 85-99.

My Profile -
10th - CBSE 93
12th - CBSE 93
B.Tech Mech - NIT 6.5 CGPA

Joined as a GET in a core electrical company(not MNC). For 1 year I worked in the Production and Engineering Dept. Was sent to a newly opened factory to set up an assembly line and its subsequent ISO certification.Did a great job there.But after 1 year,I had to take transfer to Bangalore and hence I moved onto Sales.Hardcore field sales covering 5 districts.6 months back I switched to a startup in the education sector.Again Sales and Marketing. So I have 1 year experience in Production and 1.5 years in Sales.

I want to do MBA HR.That was one of the reasons why I stuck to Sales after coming to Bangalore,as now I have worked in the back-end as well as front-end of an organisation.

I have already applied to SPJAIN,XLRI,XIMB,TISS,SIBM,NMIMS and SCMHRD.

Is there any other place I should apply as back up??I HAVE TO JOIN THIS YEAR NO MATTER WHAT.
