I'm sorry but I beg to differ ... As per his accuracy his raw score would be close to 95 and given the difficulty level in this year's CAT it should be atleast 96+%ile don't you think sir?

yaar thing is with normalization and slot difficulty no one can predict exact percentiles
we can only speculate as per info given to us based on past results
there too we can only give an idea actual results may differ by 10 percentile

@sanchitconfused I hear you sir, but a person concerned might miss out applying to a lot of A-grade colleges thinking he won't get a certain %ile when he actually has a good chance .. Some of us are pretty novice about this and appearing for the first time in CAT .. So we're asking for help .. I don't intend to offend seniors .. They always give us valuable advice and we appreciate their efforts which quite often goes unnoticed ..
what r these "profile based calls"? 10th,12th and graduation marks?? or work ex? wat wud be a decent profile?

thing is one can't predict exact percentile there would be quite a difference but as far as colleges are concerned
let me tell you all A list colleges like nitie,spjimr,mdi,imi would never reopen their application post cat results , even fore has date before cat results so fill them if you feel confident
however imi did it last year i.e. reopened after cat results
all others will reopen their application post cat results

I said - As per trends
No one including those who are going to declare results can predict the %ile of any candidate.
So, one should take a range of +-5 %ile and apply accordingly.

Try to understand...its not a WASTE ....agar feb CMAT ke thru adm loge tab bhi toh 2013-15 batch me hi padhoge;
Feb CMAT se b u can take adm in 2013-15 batch
so no WASTE of year actually
