With 2 years of work-ex, you will def get some points for most of the b-schools where they have some 5 to 10% weightage for work-ex. But, be thorough with any questions on your work-ex. That is more important.
For 5 years of work-ex, it could be advantageous as well as disadvantageous. He need to justify the reasons for taking up a 2 yr course and not a 1 yr executive course.

I am not sure which way to go. I have interest in management but I am not sure if BA job has enough opportunities, and if it better to select a brand ( TCS ), work as Developer and then switch to management afterwards..Please please suggest
Well I do not know much about IT things, but then what I feel is that if you work as a Business Analyst, the work-ex might stand out as unique as there will be lot of s/w developers but not many students with BA as his/her profile in work-ex.

Continue as a BA. It is much better than than working as a software developer for TCS
