"The candidates securing a minimum aggregate of 60% [CGPI = 6.5/10] over all the semesters of their Bachelor degree in engineering"
what does the above line means
does it mean that candidate should have more than 60% in each sem

it depends upon your university's cgpa converted into percentage formula.....each semester is not considered,overall cgpa or percentage is considered
Graduation OGPA - 6.541/10 ------> 2nd Division

iit-b ka 6.5 hai cut off,iit-d ka 6.75 and rest iits have 6 cgpa as cut off according to last year
@TONYMBA said:sorry mate,you are not eligible for nitie & iit-b...
i think apart from IIT B,
IIT kgp,IIT madras also ask for first class, n IIT D asks for 6.75 CGPA and I think IIT Kanpur also ask for 6.5 .
And as IIT Kanpur websites says
B. Tech., B. Sc. Engineering, B.E. or B. Arch. (Mathematics in Class XII) with aggregate of 65% or a CPI of 6.5 on a scale of 10 from any AICTE recognized institute/university, IITs, NITs, and IIITs.
So he is eligible for IIT kanpur i think

my OGPA is 6.541 = 65.41 % ( as per my university rule) ..... so i am eligible as per the above mentioned ???
