1. Think of CAT 2013 and other exams in next season
2. Apply to some institutes like XIME, SDMIMD etc. and attend the GD PI calls and then take a decision whether to join or not.
If MBA is not a compulsion this year, then I would recommend option 1!!

@xitizsharma If you are an engineering graduate consider applying to all IIT's especially SJMSOM, IIT B & DMS, IIT D. More or less sure you'll get calls from all of them!! If not an engineer then IIT Madras only.
Other than this, irrespective of graduation stream consider applying to KJSOM, IMT & IMI (if they reopen).

ur sectional might be an issue.... almost all iims have sectional cutoffs....
mdi doesnt... so yeah there u stand a very good chance
