You stand a chance for DSM-DTU.

Looks very difficult for BIM-Trichy.

NIT-Surathkal - Avg Placements of around 5 lacs.. !!

And Good chances at NIT Surathkal as it gives 90% weightage to CAT.
Last year the 1st list cutoff was 83 percentile and final cutoff was 78 percentile.
Fees is very minimal...fees will be 2.16 lakhs including tution fees, hostel fees and mess fees.
The batch of 2010-2012 got 100% placement with an average package of 5.5 lakhs and highest package offered by CIL (8.8 lakhs).

Consider applying to IMT Ghaziabad, IMI New Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kgp, IIT kgp MHRM, MICA and TAPMI.
As a back up, you may also apply to K J Somaiya, BIM Trichy .

SP jain gives profile based call, I can not predict anything. and You may ally to GLIM, but it also take MAT scores and its first batch will be passed out in 2014. So I don't have Idea regarding to its placement. fees are high .

Consider applying SPM Gandhinagar, BIMTECH noida, NIA Pune, NIT Surathkal, Christ.

i got 62.89 percentile in CAT 2013 (Quant-79.72 n Verbal-41.97) i am willing to get admission in EDI. Is it a good option? Can anyone provide me its cutoff and placement conditions of institute? is it a govt. institute? or should i go for UIAMS, PU, Chandigarh? or drop a year?

I would suggest you to drop one year if that option is there.

You do MBA only once. So why not try hard to get into some top b-school.

You just need to study consistently. You don't have to a book worm. All the Best.

Around 70%tile was the cut off for BIMTECH PGDM last year.
