i am looking for some good management institutes. My scores are not so strong. Can you please tell me the colleges from your list where I have a fair chance of getting selected if I give decent performance in GD/PI rounds?
CAT -- 69.99 (Q--33.53, V--90.48)
B.Tech -- CGPA 7.08 out of 10
X -- 91.8%
XII -- 76.5%
I have few options like NIA Pune, Christ Bangalore, Doon Dehradhun, DMS Pondicherry University..
And I am more interested enter finance field after MBA..

Do many technical achievements in one's resume affect negatively in one's CV while applying to a B-School ?

From whatever I've learnt from PagalGuy forum thus far, I have gathered that All NIT's Except Trichy might work for your score. I'm also applying this year.
But please get help from Forum experts like @missionCAT13 . My replies are just from my inferences from this thread.

Newer IIMs seem Difficult at this score.
If MBA is not compulsion then Give another shot to CAT.
If you want to apply this year,
then consider applying IMT G, IMI Delhi, K J Somaiya, IIT Kanpur, IIT kgp MHRM and MICA.

Application windows are open for all mentioned institutes.
Got 70 percentile in my first attempt...Suggest some good colleges if I can apply for...
