Do ACIOs get salary for 13 months in a year..
I heard it so just want to reconfirm it.. kindly reply who has some idea of it..

Hi guy just created an profile here to clear few doubts related to ib etc.I have completed 3 years in job my first posting was at Naxal area.cleared mains this year preparing for interview upsc.
Few views would like to share.
1.guys don't hear to old guys story they r bunch of frustrated persons.IB job now n pre 2 years back has changed lot.7 pay commission things u guys must know all by now.13 month will stay as well.
2.prestige etc is there but u always need to earn it by it work.my personal experience has been great on this and I find no issues.
3.salary etc now is best allowances etc gone up.gross would be around 60+ in hArd area 70+ .so this u can see itself.
4.preparation for upsc is no issues I had given mains cleared as well this year.rest depends on it luck.
5.don't compare IB few years back n now.it's totally new.departmental exam too now more frequent now.after completing minimum years of services.
6.do focus on trading it seniority list would be decided on this.in my case I was topper and my batchmate is 800 backwards from me on consolidated senirioty list.promotions are good now.1 in4 to 5 dcio in 10 years or so.merit can take u really up.As dcio u would get blue light power etc easily.
7.posting transfers good now all my batchmate in north east now in Delhi in 2 years ofpostig.hard area 2 years.U can write agt then get home state.I too have written this year fir home state.
8.if u are kiddos type guy who shy to move away from mumma or it home state etc.then stay away its all India job.even UN or foreign embassy posting etc.
9.for me its 2 best job after upsc.if I do not clear this year I won't repent in my life.pay,recognitions etc.dcio will make me feel of blue light power.
10.I am married so would also say u have lesstension n family life that u can't many other jobs.s
11.tensions bad experience are part of all job even modi faces it.so be wise in ur decision.

Guys regarding comparison of acio and a.c....I feel it depends on ur view of work n life.ac in crpf n bsf are damm tough job n forgot about any preparations plus tough hard postings seriously vulnerable ones.risk is too high.family life difficult. Pay difference is not tat big since 20% allowance make for 15600 grade thing.but can't decline fact its group a. But comes with tough n very challenges in service years.seen many ac quiting for bank clerk n po etc.with due respect I do not mean to defame any post or job but its damm tough carreer. Call is always with individual. My advice if u want peaceful life with recognition n civil recognition etc go for IB if u want group a right now plus want adrenaline rush risk adventure etc no family obligation go for ac.
Honestly it's not advisable to compare any jobs each has own merits n demerits just think keeping ur desires in mind.

Issues regarding transfer posting preparation.
1.guys no hard fast rule u would be send to hard area on first posting.depends on ur luck.even if u r posted few areas only are hard rest r decent enough to survive 2 years after which u would be brought back.
2.U can write annual general transfer on completion of tenure.2 years hard and for other states its 3 years.
3. Time of study no issues.can't guarantee ur luck if u get frustrated officer.else its cool normal n depends on ur skills of maintaining informal relations.
4.promotions depends on seniority list..tat y I said do focus on training.acio 1 in 4 and dcio in 10 years.departmental exams too have started.acio ii with 3 years can sit for acio I and acio I with 3 years for dcio.else be guaranteed for 4 years acio I and 10 years or so dcio.minimum AD rank guaranteed in service can go up to DD.
In pay commission dcio post upgradation too has been asked.any dcio with 14 years to get SP rank salary.most probably it will be accepted.
