1> whats the total course fee.. for PGDBM and IBM?
2> what are the placement figures?

Can i expect a call from Fore.??:

Also what is expected %ile reqd for pgp(IBM)

FORE accepts only CAT scores..
last time the cutoff was 90%ile

Hi Ayush,

It mostly depends on your percentile score. Last year the cut-off was 90 %ile. With your score, you should get a call if the CAT paper was at the same level or tougher than last year. So, keep your fingers crossed and all the best.

paper was indeed tougher dan last year no doubt about it..........

and last year i scored 73 and got 83%tile and i m sure dat an equivalent score shud give around 86--88%tile ......i hope i get rite............
i wish i can clear it ........

Hi Guys ! Really appreciate you taking time out from your busy schedules and answering never ending queries.

I have taken CAT 07 and have the following scores :
QA 17 DI 33 VA 29/34. Total 79/84 Around 88-90%ile as projected by various institutes.

First, Can I expect a call?

Second, I want to pursue my MBA in HR. How are the people in HR specialization doing at your institute? How is the placement scenario for HR specialized MBA students from FORE ? What are the companies that come in for HR students?

Third, I am presently working in IBM India Pvt Ltd and have 14 months of experience at present. Will any weightage be given to the fact that I am working in a reputed company, if I fall short of the required %ile to earn a call up?

yes there was sectional cut off last year but they were pretty low so its mainly the overall percentilewhich matters.

Workex: 42 months (Dabur India as Production Executive)

QA - 95.02 %ile
Vocab - 62.02 %ile

OA - 89.39%ile.
Work ex - 1.5 yrs, Good acads.
Please let me know if I would get a call as my OA %ile is slightly lesser than 90.

What are my chances at FORE ?

I'm afraid u r chances are looking quite bleak.. during my time itself the cutoff at FORE was 90%ile.. so this time arnd we can safely assume a 1 or 2 %ile increase.. [ for the PGDM programme]..

for the IBM programme , i'm sure u'll make it..

anyways as u never know wat will happen, so keep ur fingers crossed..

you stand a good chance for a call from the IBM program but chances of PGDM gd call looks rather difficult
