hi seniors what are my chance of getting into fore got the foll result.. DI/LR-98.62 va-81 qa-76 oa 95.sumthing.. and i also heard that fore has a lateral placement system where preference is only given to those having work ex..i also heard that fore has very low placement for freshers... seniors please help me out as i m counting on fore and these things are giving me nightmares..
you should get a call for the gd.. In every B-school laterals is only for the people who have work ex. FORE also follows the same.. and at the same time , FORE provides an equal platform for the freshers as well.. so be rest assured..
As the last year's cut-off was 90 %ile but, may be, they consider your %ile as its almost 90 if your experience stands out amongst other. But your vocab %ile is low. So, just keep your fingers crossed.

After sending the application I did not receive any acknowledgement of receipt from their side by post or mail. Dont they send these or my application has been misplaced? How can I verify?

No, you do not need to send your CAT score. If they require it, they will mail it to you. Anyway, just check the prospectus to see if they have asked for the CAT score this time.

You will get a call. I am not the best person to comment on the salaries as I did not have the occasion to discuss this many of our seniors. I would leave that to the other more knowledgeable ones.
1) Would be interested in knowing the average/median salaries at FORE 2) Number of people with close to 3 years work experience in the current batch 3) IMI asks for higher percentile than FORE. Reasons why it is a better institute ( assuming higher percentiles denote better institute)
