I have been considering the HKU MBA and their essay prompt stumps me a bit. Could you share your opinion on this. Here is how it reads:
Please provide below a statement explaining why you are interested in doing this programme, why you are suitable for it and the value of the MBA programme to your future career. Here's how i interpret this:
1. Please provide below a statement explaining why you are interested in doing this programme i.e. Why HKU MBA
2. value of the MBA programme to your future career. ie. why MBA .. and now the dilemma..
3. why you are suitable for it.. does this mean why MBA now or what value would I add to the HKU class?

I recently appeared for GMAT and have a score of 640 (V:32 Q: 45). I am a graduate of computer technology(62 %). I have 4 years of work experience. Out of these 4 years, I have been working in the US for last 2 years.
I am trying to find the colleges suitable for my score. So far I have come up with :

2.University of illinois urbana-champaign
3.Nanyang
Do these choices look good? any suggestions which colleges should I try for?
Does it give me an advantage to have worked in the US for couple of years?
I am precisely looking for colleges that have technology management.

Need a bit of advice. I am a graduate with B.Tech in ECE(62%) , 12th - 73%. and 10th - 76%.
I am currently working with IGate (16 months) as a Systems Engineer. Planning to do my MBA this year. Need to know which all colleges would accept my profile if get a decent score of 700-740 range in GMAT.
Apart from acads, i am Sports Enthusiast. Started playing Table Tennis at disitric level in 4th Class itself. Then moved on to Badminton for next few years and then finally took Football in 9th Std and almost got selected for a Club and State level.
It all fissled out in college level as i graduated from Amity University where they were more than 20 k people so the competetion was really stiiff! Unfortunaltely couldn't compete at higher level.

Indian/ Male/ 26/ IT/ 5.5 yrs work ex/ GMAT 720 (Q 50, V 37) X - 85% cbse XII 86% cbse BTech 6.26/10 CGPA BTech (2008) from a non-IIT deemed university with average GPA (AIEEE air 7000).Worked in IT development (IT major) for 3.5 years. Currently working as a Business Consultant for an IT firm (a smaller firm, much better visibility) for 2.5 years now. Have played an active role in company strategy plan & implementation. IIBA Certified Business Analyst. Extra Curricular activities decent (Played nationals in chess & state level in softball, founded various clubs in schools and work place, inter-corporate tourneys etc; have completed Marathons & Triathlons, organized as well).
With an intention to moving to management consulting, please suggest from global top 50 B-schools that I can apply to aiming at Fall 2014 session. What colleges can I target now? (admitting that I am late in applying this year). Please advice. Thanks for your help.
