Work Exp : 6+ years of experience at TCS in Banking domain.

Academic : 10th - 77, 12th - 65,B.Tech - 8.1/10 in computer science.

Current responsibilities includes..

1. Mentoring a 3 members team for a new project.

2. Interacting with the clients for requirements gathering .

3. Doing impact analysis.

4. Developing a strategy & business model.

Want to go for an MBA ,as i am interested in strategy & Consulting profile and also want to have a better understanding in business strategy and process.

Aiming for the following colleges and targeted GMAT score 720+

1. IIM - C

2. IIM - B

3. ISB

It will be really helpful if some of you guys can suggest ,how i should prepare myself according to my profile.

Can someone please evaluate my profile:

I am targeting top B schools in India as well as abroad.

SSC - 90%

HSC - 87%

B.Tech (ECE) - 64%

Work Ex. - 3 Years in IT sector (1 Indian and 1 Foreign Company)

I would like to know whether ISB PGP or IIMs PGPEX courses would be good for my profile? And where do i stand in terms of the admission to the MBA Institutes.

As part of extra curricular activities, i have been Public Representative Officer of the Robotics society of my Engg college, have been captain of the Engg college cricket  team,etc

Also i am interested in the knowledge management inclined MBA course, so would appreciate names of MBA colleges providing such education.

Hello, This is Arijit Das, completed my B.Tech on this year only. I wish to take up GMAT exam on September'16, I don't have any work experience in prior and willing to pursue my MBA as a fresh graduate. 

Can you suggest me the B schools I can aim for? I am finding this difficult because I am seeing few articles where it is clearly written in GMAT score accepting B schools, as presented in

I am interested in pursuing a master's degree in economics at University of Toronto. I have a 3-years Bachelor of Commerce and 1 year of work experience. Masters degrees in canada require you to have a 4-years degree in order to complete the eligibility criteria. *Would a 1-year post-grad certificate course (continuing education program) suffice to meet the aforementioned requirements* or would I have to go for a diploma course?

Hello,

I have a few questions regarding GMAT applications. Will be happy if you could help me. Please forgive my ignorance, as I am new to this.

I had sent my score to five institutions before starting my GMAT exam. Now,

1.) How should I proceed with completing my application for those colleges, considering that applications for 2017 entry have not started yet? 

2). What is the GMAT code number? When is that required?

3). What should be my next step? As far as I understand, I am working on essays and references. Am I missing something?

Hello, I would be really glad if you guys could give me some clarity regarding b schools admissions. 

My profile:- 10th: 90 % 12th : 76% Graduation: B E from Thapar University with a 6.45 cgpa in Electrical engineering in 2013.  

I have no significant work ex, as I started preparing for competition. Currently I am working in government sector as Assistant Engineer in Punjab State Power Corporation. 

I am planning to do MBA in 2018. By that time, I would have work ex of 2 years as a gazzeted officer. 

I am looking for economical b schools, may be upto 20lakhs. Are there any good colleges around the world upto that budget, or MBA is just too far fetched for me?

Shortlisting is intelligently identifying schools after duly factoring in all the variable involved:

1. Specialization

2. Checking the school's fact sheets. Do you match? If you think you deserve a brand, so do the schools. That is what they boast about- a strong alum network.

3. Faculty. They will be your best friends for the next 1-2 years.

4. Geography. This is a personal component which only you can be the judge of.

5. Placements; the potential recruiters that meet your post MBA goals should be in the school's employers list.

It is very important for one to do a thorough analysis and research before contemplating a graduate program to secure admits with scholarships.

What is the latest date by which I will have to appear for GMAT this year in order to be able to apply for MBA 2017 in India? I am planning to give my GMAT exam on 5th November. If i score decent will I be able to apply for MBA 2017?

1.5 With an event company as a marketing executive.

and the rest on my own start-up.

Academic : 10th - 82, 12th - 67,B.Tech - 59.6% in electrical and electronics.

I want to go for an MBA ,as I am interested in taking my start-up ahead and that is the skill I believe I am lacking so want to have a better understanding in business strategy and process. Aiming for the Top tier colleges and targeted

GMAT score 730+ .

GRE score 330+.

So my main concern is my lacklustre academics score so is there a way that I can overcome that or should I just give up on top tier institutes.
