Well, going abroad i'd prefer CEIBS over NUS/NTU because it would give me business insights and networking opportunities in mainland china.I'd also like to pick on mandarin the hard way which would give me an edge in long run.Since market like SGP/HKG are more international in nature i believe it would be easier to shift there with work-ex in India and China both.Moreover, batch at CEIBS is more international in nature with Indian students in minority which is a rare sight in A-PAC schools at least.
I am only weighing the trade-off between CEIBS and ISB, both prominent in their domestic circle but not that well-established a brand on global scene.

HI , I few concerns before going fr GMAT and then a MBA in US can you plss help ....
What is the current scene for Indian Students studying in (M7 +Next 8) Business Schools in US?Are they able to get good jobs after MBA ?How much role does Visa sponsoring play in final FT Recruiting for Indians there who doesn't have work permit/green card ?Is the competition tough for foreign graduates (~around 40% of the class I guess ) as the firms may have limited quota for foreign students.I am planning on my MBA and I was shortlisting schools .I would like to know your honest opinion on this.Is it worth taking 100k + loan and apply to US MBA schools.I don't have that kind of money but I am willing to take risk if it really worth?

GK ? everyone does have one or two unique qualities in them and its how one utilizes those traits is what is being looked at in an MBA application if ur case is strong .........Assuming that you are aiming for the Executive MBA programmes from IIMs or an ISB , you just need to do 2 things right ....get a very good score in yr GMAT (700-740) -that would indicate yr ability to withstand the academic rigour of the programme and balance out yr academic GPA's and second you need to showcase ( and i mean genuine showcasing not a drama which can be caught very easily) of your superior traits ...be at work , society ..wherever......and pal .....be very positive abt what you are doing and do an MBA just for knowledge enhancement and skill building ....pls do not think it as a money making machine of sorts .....

I want to grow to a certain level in a quick time I think an MBA degree would help to a good extent. I do have some certificates which showcases my abilities as a a good cricketer. Apart from that I do not have anything which would add to my profile substantially. Need ur advice as to what i need to work upon to make a strong profile after getting a good GMAT score.

You have not mentioned anything about your work experience, but on assumption that you have some good achievements to talk about and you put together a well thought out and well presented application, you would stand a chance.

One of the top Investment Banks, Wall Street, New York, as an Associate, role was close to business (1.5 years)
Largest financial Services Bank in the world, Wall Street, New York, as an AVP, role is business cum technology( will be another 1.5 years when I apply)

My question is about my options post MBA. I have got an admit from the whitman school of business for fall 2013 intake. I would like to know how my prospects post MBA if i am coming back to india.
To be more precise. at present i have a work ex of 4.5 years. post my mba and two years of work ex in usa, if i come back to india, how will my prospects differ from someone who has a ten years work ex in india without an mba both in terms of profile and salary.

Unlike the other top MBA brands, Whitman doesn't have much of a recall value in India. As a general rule, your best bet is to work in the country that you study in, get a few years work experience and then move geographies.
In terms of comparing the experiences, recruiters will never do the math that you've presented. They'll go by gut feel based on how much justice you can do to their advertised role.
If you can deliver the goods in a better, faster, cheaper and more efficient manner, you are in.

Experience: IT MNC (5 years in July 2013) - Credible performance with multiple awards and certifications - 2.5 years onsite in NA

I had given my final year exam of BE in june-2007 and cleared all my papers. However one subject of 3rd year was a backlog and i cleared it in dec-2007 and so on my degree certificate its written 2008 passing and have passed my final year in 2007. I was working from june-2007 to june 2008. so will i be able to write 2007 as my graduation and also will my experience of that one year will be counted.
Please reply guys, damn worried due to this.
