An important information about ASRB assistant exam. Many people are asking uselessly to various persons regarding the nature of job ( whether its a central govt. Job or not ) & its office'$ working environment 😊 Let us clear our doubt over it first. ASRB is an autonomous body( which conducts examinations for the appointment of candidates to various posts 😁 😁) but that doesn't mean that its not a central govt. Job. Actually it lies under the ministry of agriculture ..its called autonomous because govt. Doesn't interfere in its functioning and it gets its all funds from the central govt. And all pay commissions & central govt. Perks & privileges are implementad from the date of notification and you can verify it from any employee & any person associated with it. Therefore its a fully govt. Job , same like IITs which Get their all funds such as salaries of department personnel , professors , MTS staff etc. from the central govt. And perform autonomously . Now , come to the point of people leaving this job frequently ..actually this job is monotonous in nature. Plus its few centers are in deep rural areas . Also , promotion is very slow as well as you have to be at the location of posting until you get a promotion from assistant ( ASO) to Section officer ( SO) plus there is no extra income involved as its an administrative job and in ssc people get chances to earn extra income via bribe & non conventional methods . Last thing , its a very peaceful job If anyone is willing to do a routine job. This world is full of insatiable persons. what once we crave most for turns to a boaring affair once we get it. Even sky also has its limit ..but if anyone wants to be happy he will be even after getting a clerical job & I know people who are not satisfied even with their proper upsc jobs.its upto us that what we want. Actually only satisfaction matters. Good luck😁 😁 😊 😊
I called them today. They are saying result will publish in 15-20 days.
it's ASRB's policy to fool the aspirants by citing the declaration of results within 10/15/20 days bcoz in this way aspirants would wait with the bated breadth for next 15 days and if results are not published within stipulated time (as mentioned by asrb officials) then again aspirants would start making calls to asrb office which i think irritates them a lot ( as they get 100's of these calls from impatient aspirants) and then they spur some random time limit to the fellow callers and soothe them with bleak timelines and in this way the vicious cycle goes on and on ... 😁

In the link below it was written that the
the panel of successful candidates that was kept in reserve by ASRB out of the Assistant Grade Exam 2011 has been exhausted and Council has to futher recruitment process for filling the vacancies.
it is also found that the Assistants joined under 2011 exam in ASRB/ICAR headquarters have resigned 1/3 as technical resignation. i.e 13 out of 40 candidates have resigned.
These situations will increase the no. of vacancies in 2014 exam. Hope for the best results.
