I am confused friends. Suppose there are 2000 seats , 1000 for gen and 1000 for obc..
Anyway 1000 obc seats reserved for obc candidates.. And what if around 500-600 obc candidates score more than gen cutoff.. Will they be selected under gen category..that means ,total of 1500 for obc and 500 for gen ?? That is nonsense I guess.. Gen cat seats means , only gen category will b filled..
If anyone have doubt about this then please check 2017 rbi assistant mains cutoff list
You can see one PWD cutoff is higher than gen cutoff
That means.. For that particular category only candidates of that category will be considered.. They wont mix and select … please provide your viewpoints about this
Also in guwahati region, for rbi, gen cutoff was around 109 and obc was 119..
This time they have taken 6000 candidates while last year there we're just 4800. So I think the cut off would be same like last year .

Most of the rumours are going on regarding written:gd:pi ratio as 50:15:35 like syndicate bank did this time,would BOB also follow the same and if anyone has the notification saved can u plz check and let us know that whether they have mentioned 80:20 in their selection or not...Thanks for reply
Guys!!!! One small request, kindly answer if any of you know any info!!! This is for my brother, he has secured 53% in graduation ... Is he eligible for bank exams or , he is GEN category, or if he does Post Grad will the post grad marks be considered for eligibility if he scores above 60%... or will they ask for both grad and Post grad eligibility... Many here are getting feared that what will happen if the ratio of gd:pi: written goes with 15:35:50....As in the case of syndicate Bank. I have made the calculation and found that there will be a difference of 4marks in final cutoff...See this below

Guys don't believe on any predictions. We can take NICL as an example for release date of result. Till yesterday,NIcl HR kept on telling us tht results wl b displayed in 15 days . But see .. we gt it today itself. So don't blv on sources or so..if these pals really hd any source thn they weren't wandering unemployed here on pg . So don't blv on anyone. Result will be displayed randomly on the website and those who r sitting there at BOB hq and receiving our calls are barred to leak any details related to the recruitment process including result date as well.
