Sure work ex plays a role when it comes to any MBA... in fact my batch has more people with work ex than freshers.. that dosent mean that they dont prefer freshers...
When compared, people with work-ex who has 2-3%tile less than the freshers are also preferred...
then TINKU- ur reg. no. is enuf.. they will get ur score from the institute directly.. ur score card is needed only when u come for the GD/PI.

Also cud u spot on with what percentyl approximately BIM gave call last time for GD/PI ...umight have come to know from ur fellow batchmates..pls enlighten us in this regard ! & with what percentyl we can expect call this time ---freshers and work ex pple !

About the precentile i cant say u anything clearly. As you might be knowing that upto lastyear BIM was acceping only XAt scores, And this year they are taking both CAT/XAT. So prediction is difficult.
And apart from CAT/XAT scores, some other things also plays role.

is there a TaMIL NaDU quota at BIM trichy? what % ? is it only for tamil nadu bc and sc/st candidates or for tamil nadu OC candidates too? and how do u define tamil nadu candidate? i lived all my life outside tamil nadu.. except for the 3 years of my graduation..which i completed in tamil nadu. so my X and XII are not tamil nadu state board. i have a domicile in tamil nadu. do i qualify as a tamil nadu candidate? my cat percentile is 92.3.

Till now no one has gotthe call form BIM. Results will be declared shortly. So just wait n watch.
And its very subjective question that you will get a call or not at 91.02 percentile or not. As it depends upon the total applications received by BIM.
So please wait.

I had not applied through CAT but through XAT. But after seeing my CAT percentile (90.12... what are my chances), I mailed BIM my CAT reg no... this happened way after the deadline...ie., the deadline was 31st of december and I did thid on the 5th or 7th of january. But I have not received any mails from BIM either on the acceptance or rejection of my request. Can you please check it out for me if they have included my CAT no?? I'll PM you the details....

the call letters will come out shortly...
actually cannot compare this year with previous year.. because last year the admissions procedure started only in the last week of APRIL since there was a court order in TN to scrap GD/PI process...so many of 'em joined other institutes or were caught up because they paid their 1st trim fees and so on...
our batch the preference was given for work-ex people than freshers.. so it depends.. generally people in TN category are likely(not sure) to get a call for 80 %ile.. other state applicants.. pretty difficult even with ur work- ex...

i am interested i getting into bim but now i feel a bit shaky after reading a couple of threads which says that the college sux.
now that feels really bad cause it was a college i am seriousl looking at.
do tell me bout the infrastructure, hostel, and facilities.
i know that placements r not that bad as being a time student i have read the placemnt report of the current placemnts at bim.
the average salary featuring something like 5.6 lac is not that bad.
i just want to know is bim a worthy place to spend the two most important years of my life.
