Trishna's book is i guess TIMES publication,I bought it from TIME center.
Its almost similar to TIME study material. though i did not solve much of it but the explanation and formula's given are quite similar ( note : its not same, in few chapters its like copy paste word but word )

Sorry dude, I don't remember the cost. I suggest you can get the TIME center's number from their website. Call them and check with them.

And note that If you are time student you do get some discount on it.

And as far as books quality and usefulness is concern, well i haven't used them enough to comment on it. Check with your seniors if any of them have used it.

hii guyz i jst bought QA book by sarvesh verma kumar but in the geometry section from page 456 to page 472 instead of the geometry content question papers of XAT CAT SAT hav been printed....n1 having dis book plz scan d abov mention pages n email to me...It ll b vry helpful guyz....

I think it is a case of printing gone wrong dude.You might find the remaining geometry section towards the end,where the CAT,XAT papers are given.My Sarvesh Verma QA Book is fine.:thumbsup:

Personally my favourite is Quantum CAT by Sarvesh Kumar Verma. Really, helped me in getting rid of my Quanto phobia.
Also, people can look forward to Demystefying Number System, those who look forward to mastering Number System. Though, i found it way too exhaustive.

both are avilable to me .

hey puys, please lemme know which book is better for me?arun sharma or quantum cat arihant,,, as i was enrolled in TIME earlier n cat 2011 will be my second attempt.I want quality questions of a good level to be there. I knw arun sharma doesnt contain answers..n arihant does. but apart from explaining concepts very nicely and elaborating answers, does arihant have a gud high level quants questions????
Also i need to concentrate on XAT, wich book will be better for xat quants section..??
Please guys help me out here... thnx

Quantum CAT has questions of various levels.Initial levels are very easy,i dont think CAT,XAT,JMET etc will ever ask such questions.It has only one section that has tough questions..Arun Sharma has got quality questions,although there r mistakes in the answers that are given.Still,the question level is too good.IMO,go 4 Arun Sharma Quant book :cheerio:

Hi all. I am from BYJU's classes and we don't get enough study material either in the hardcopy format or online. So if you could suggest some books for LR/DI/DS and VA specifically, it would be really helpful. I have purchased SK Verma for QA. I urgently need something for DI and VA. Books which will help you to score better in written

On a serious note, there are no such specific books apart from those provided by various coaching institutes..you just need to have an awareness about what is happening around you and you should try to formulate your own opinions about them...also you should try asking questions to yourself constantly like ''why i am going for mba''?( trust me only this will make the difference )
practicing mock gd/pi will be the finishing touch.

This post may be a little out of context; but I am looking to donate my prep material to some sincere puy :D

Current city of location : Pune / I can also transport the material to Mumbai

Material details: Since I have been preparing from 2008, I have amassed huge amount of test/mock papers (CAT+CET+XAT+SNAP) from various institutes. I had joined TIME in 2008 and have the entire study material from them and then took a class with Byju for Quant and DI last year
