@yanurag4659 Go over the basics... please try and go to your basics of even and odd numbers, prime numbrs, basics of algebra, your multiplication tables. Try Sudoku and mental math books, try solving simple BODMAS questions - will help a lot
@sikha.gift Do not refer too many different coaching centre materials. All you need is good practice. For the preparation and conceptual clarity part please stick to one book. For practice get good question banks - the books suggested here are good enough

From tomorrow i begin my coaching and hence my struggle for cat 2013. For preparation i would be following the coaching material. But what all other things should i know regarding preparation. like should i also refer to other books, and which books should they be. What threads should i start following here at pagalguy? Can someone please guide me towards a good preparation.
@realslimshady Its a very very broad question, but here on PG, follow the thread on CAT quant, VA and LRDI. The first one is the most active one, and very very helpful indeed.

I started a month ago, with ARUN SHARMA (The whole set of four books) and i found the books extremely helpful.....It is recommended for beginners, who want to get their basics right. The only problem i am facing is that there is sooooo much to do, and soooo less time!!! 
@dark-phoenix Don't loose your mind over this issue. Just identify the top priorities and give them the best that you have.

hi...i am having qa for cat by Arun Sharma Fourth Edition, but there is a Fifth Edition available in the market. I just wanted to know if fourth edition is sufficient for cat preparation or do i need to buy the fifth edition.
