IN TODAYS NEWS PAPER IT IS PUBLISHED THAT FROM 26 SEP ONLINE FORM FOR AE IS GOING TO START AND IT WILL BE TAKEN BY BTSSC . THERE IS 5000 VACANCY FOR CIVIL AND MECHANICAL.

In a BPSC exam conducted on 15th and 16th of a month, 46 exam centres with 65-70% attendance for civil. 35 centres with 40% attendance for mechanical. Total applied 48000 and total appeared 28000. Find the number of candidates from mechanical and civil who appeared in the exam.

Total candidate =48000 Total center=81, civil center 46. Each center=48000/81=600 apprx. Total civil candidate applied= 600x46=27300. If we assume 70% attendance then Appeared candidates in Civil are 27300x(70/100)= 19110. This is rough idea.
