I would suggest you drop a mail and inquire. What I know is that even if there is no info regd. schol in the admittance mail, one can be awarded some schol at later point in time. So how this happens? Well! What I have come to know is that if an admitted guy with schol drops out then that schol budget is re-assigned to some other admitted student. Here are few things that I feel you should do:

1) Communicate your strong desire for Foster
2) If possible write an additional essay highlighting some stellar aspect about you that was not covered in your application and is highly relevant to business schools
3) If possible go for an additional recommendation from a Foster alumnus (if you know any Foster alumnus)

Prepare for behavioral interview questions. MBA admission interviews are conversational in nature. You have to pass the €œairport test €? :-)

I am planning to apply in R3. I want to know how long does it take from the time of application to the final result.I am asking because I have an admit to a Univ which I am not very keen on joining but i need to pay them some money before march 15th.
I just a brief view of my profile.
i worked in 2 countries for projects in Africa, EU and Asia.
I have an MS from one of top 50 univ in the world.
but one drawback My GMAT id 650.
decent acds and extra curricular activities .
One patent filing in process. (USP)
I qualify for a TOEFL waiver.

@Melon: I submitted my app on October 15, received interview invitation on Nov. 3, was interviewed on Nov. 21. I received admit e-mail on Dec. 14. In my case, it took two months.

@anilsdomain looking at my profile do u think I have a fighting chance or GMAT score will be a big drawback?
I like to know your Opinion as U have already done some research on the school and its requirements.

You have a strong profile (MS from good uni+Overseas experience+Patent filed). If you consider the avg. GMAT score at Foster, your score is on lower side, however ,given your profile, it's definitely not an app killer. In my opinion, you do have a fighting chance.
