Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur congratulates its 3rd batch of PGP participants for completing 100% placements. The 2017-2019 batch has shown great enthusiasm, discipline and dedication in making a mark in the industry.
This placement season, the institute hosted 49 companies including many first time recruiters who doled out a total of 69 offers to the students of IIM Sambalpur. The prominent ones are Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Vedanta, Reliance Jio, OYO Rooms, Ericsson, Motilal Oswal, IQVIA, Newgen, Evalueserve, Parekh Group, HDFC Bank, SBI Life, Aarthi Industries and AGS Transact among many other companies. The students were offered highly coveted roles across various domains such as BFSI, Consulting, Sales & Marketing, Marketing Research, Business Development, Operations, and HR.
The average and median CTCs of the batch stood at Rs. 11.33 Lacs and 9.23 Lacs respectively, with the highest international and domestic CTCs being Rs. 58.00 Lacs and 20.00 Lacs respectively. The CTC for the top quartile of the batch stood at Rs. 18.92 Lacs while the top 50% of the batch secured an average salary of Rs. 14.30 Lacs.

Hi everyone when will CAP 2019-2021 results be out? Also I got a personal query. I did reconfirm my interest for IIM vishakapatnam and IIM Nagpur but I didn't receive any further emails regarding admission process. So does that mean, I didn't get shortlist for further rounds? Please help me with this because I don't wanna die with the guilt that I missed out the forms 😂
Hi friends i appeared for DSE interview today. Just want to inquire something.. My last hope is CAP now.. Is there any college in CAP that I should leave for DSE. I would happily join IIM ranchi, trichy Udaipur but what about others?

Hi! What's the procedure after the final list is out? How much time do we have for accepting the offer or submitting the fees?
I've mentioned a few pros of both the colleges I want to compare, or should I say, one college and the other being a list of colleges coming under the category of IIM:
SIBM Pune:
1) Better Average and median package (Both, summer and final placement). Summer placement figures, twice those of NEW IIMs.
2) Better campus facilities as compared to some NEW IIMs, some of them do not even have their own campus. Hence better infrastructure.
3) Smaller Batch Size of 180 students.
4) Good for marketing (Marketing is the specialization of my choice)
5) Location advantage (Pune)
NEW IIMs:
1) IIM Tag
2) Less Fees
I might be wrong on several fronts but an honest opinion would be really appreciated on whether to go for SIBM Pune or NEW IIMs. Do mention your reasons as well please!
