Hey guys wanted to know which test series is best for CAT 2016 and how often should we enrol in it given test date to be in november
Hey guys - please check my android app 'Vocab Stories'. You get to learn words through fun stories and learning this way is much easier than wordlists or mnemonics. Though CAT does not have direct vocab questions, you will need a good vocab to do well.

Dear Members,
This is one of our many initiatives to make studying 'Reading Comprehension' easy and convenient. Based on the RC trends for the pat few years, Boheeprep has segregated RCs into the different
categories: http://www.bodheeprep.com/1/167/Reading-Comprehension
Each category has been further segregated into Long and Short type.
Right now, there are more than hundred RC available here. We plan to take this number to 1000.
I would like everyone to have a look.
Only the answers are available right now, gradually I will write the explanation for each and every question in the RCs.
A good question of Vocabulary

Dear Members,
Here is a very good article for students who are interested in understanding and knowing more about CAT English Grammar.
Since the article is very long, I cannot post the entire article right here; instead, I am pasting the link of blog
A student pinged me and asked me about 'object of preposition'. I sent the below reply to him; since it was liked by him, I thought of sharing this here as well:)
There is a difference between 'to + verb' and 'to +object of preposition (this object of preposition could be a noun/ a pronoun/ a gerund/ or a clause)
I want to eat
I went to London
in the first case, i.e. 'to + eat' , 'to' is infinitive because it is followed by the base form of the verb (action)
in the second case, i.e. 'to + London', 'to' is not an infinitive, but a preposition
the thing that follows a preposition is the object of preposition, and the object of preposition could be: a noun/a pronoun/ a gerund/ or a clause, nothing else!
for example, (in all cases 'to' is preposition, which is followed by the object)
I am committed to you (the pronoun is the object of preposition)
I am committed to the cause ( the noun is the object of preposition)
I am committed to improving my language (here 'improving' is a gerund, because it is acting like a noun)
I am committed to what I think is the goal of my life (the clause 'what I think is the goal of my life' is the object of preposition)
Now see the error,
I am committed to improve my language (this sounds awkward to all! Why? Because the object of preposition could be: a noun/a pronoun/ a gerund/ or a clause, nothing else!)
I want to improve my language (this sounds good! Why? Because 'to' is not acting like a preposition smile emoticon )
A preposition always expresses relation
If you haven't yet understood it, then here is the link of my grammar blog; it is exhaustive and complete. For any doubts, feel free to ping me
