while filling the marks for class12th , i have given it 2 times , one was improvement, so in filling marks for cat should i give the marks as best of the two. like i got 95 in english in 2013 but in 2014 i got 76. but in rest of the papers for 2014 i got better marks. so is it allowed to give best of both while filing cat form ?

An arithmetic progression P consists of terms. From the progression three different progressions P1, P2 and P3 are created such that P1 is obtained by the 1st, 4th ,7th terms of P, P2 has the 2nd, 5th, 8th, terms of P and P3 has the 3rd, 6th, 9th, terms of P. It is found that of P1, P2 and P1 two progressions have the property that their average is itself a term of the original Progression P. Which of the following can be a possible value of n?

A. 20

B. 26

C. 36

D. Both A and B

Hello fellow aspirants! I gained a lot from PagalGuy community last year and ended up securing 99.95%le in CAT'19.

I wish to give back to the community and hence I am conducting Zoom Q/A sessions with me in the next few days, esp for CAT'20 aspirants.

It's a difficult time for all of us and I have decided to keep these mentoring sessions Free of cost and Open to All (limited seats per session).

All you have to do is fill the google form below and pick a suitable timing for you : https://forms.gle/vkGnqLb1qxnE5ywe6

You will get an automated email with joining details when you submit it. In this regard, I have something else to share that has already helped many CAT'20 aspirants like you.

Personally I am also working on a personal growth community called Stranger Sapiens. Its focus is Consistent Productivity.

Because of public interest, we have also launched a 2 hr Zoom workshop on Productivity & WillPower Management esp meant for CAT takers. The point is simple - we often know WHAT to do but execution is the key differenciator.

We have already conducted it multiple times with pretty good feedback, you can check out details and Register for this Sunday's Workshop here: https://www.strangersapiens.club/workshop_CAT

You will get more details in your inbox when you book a mentoring slot (again, free of cost).  You can DM me here if you face any issues wrt booking slot etc. See you on the other side!

 If A= 1 + x + x2 + x3 + …..& B = 1 + y + y2 + y3 + ….. and 0 < x, y < 1, then the value of 1 + xy + x2 y2  + x3 y3 + …..is:

 (a) AB/(A + B)

(b) AB/(A + B − 1)

(c) (AB − 1)/(A + B)

(d) AB

Hi I have one query I had applied twice in CAT 2020. Can anyone confirm do they generate two admit cards or will they mail me before admit card release regarding which application to consider?
