To all those who would be attempting the CAT 2020 and thinking of getting into their dream colleges with amazing percentiles these are a few final tips that would help -
1] Do not do anything on the last day. Just spend your time relaxing and even enjoy a movie if you want. The only thing you can do is revise your formulas if you want to.
2] Keep up your confidence level. You have studied for tons of hours now, given mocks and did everything you could. Just believe in yourself and in your preparation and this would go a long way in making a difference in the percentiles you achieve.
3] Most importantly check all the things that needs to be carried the day before the exam itself. Don't wait that you will check everything before leaving for the exam. If you forget something on the D Day it could be disastrous.
4] Reach the centre well before your scheduled slot. Waiting outside is fine rather than missing the cut off time by few mins.
5] This is a personal opinion, folowing it is upto you. Have something high in sugar such your favorite chocolates or even few Hide & Seek biscuits before the exam. It does give the brain some much needed stimulus.
6] Once you are in your designated place in the exam hall, check if you have completed all the formalities that were required before the start of the exam.
7] During the paper if any section starts to feel difficult to you do not let yourself be demoralized. There are high chances that the section itself is tuff and hence that won't affect your percentiles. But no matter what don't let the feeling of the section being tuff carry over to other sections. That would ruin the entire paper. Start each section with a fresh mindset.
8] With all the mocks you have given, you must have set a strategy for solving the paper. Try to go ahead with the same strategy itself and do not try to do something new in the paper. But this does not mean being rigid. You also have to be flexible to modify your strategy slightly according to the paper you get.
9] Lastly, the two hours of exam uses heavy mental energy and it is best that you forget what happened in the paper and do not discuss it once you get out of the room. This is because already you are into mental exhaustion due to the 2 hrs and anyways you won't be able to change anything that is gone.
Lastly, I will again repeat that believe in yourself and your preparation and you will surely get through with amazing scores.
All the Best and do chill out with family and friends post the exam (ofcourse taking all the precautions).
