Can someone suggest if we are to infer anything outside the passage in RC's like a  universal truth or stick strictly to the content?


Say 

The RC speaks of earth different motion(rotation) and the time required to complete them. However within the content they donot mention anything about erth's complete rotation time (universal truth). However they did mention other rotation time like "precession", "mutation"stuff.

Now they ask a Q like which kind of rotation requires shortest possible time to complete. Even though they include one of the option as rotation, they didnt mention anything about it in the passage.


So while selecting are we suppose to infer beyond what's stated in the RC content like universal truth ? 


ps: The test provider suggested the ans as rotation even though it wasn't mentioned in the peragraph.

Mumbai University B Com guys, are we supposed to enter only the last two semesters marks for graduation or the aggregate percentage of all 6 semesters?..
