Hello guys, I am currently working in a well known IT consultancy firm. I have total experience of 3 years with the same firm. This is my first shot at CAT and to be frank at any management entrance exam. I am new to this forum too, this is my first post. I started CAT preparation in mid July-17 without any coaching and currently scoring around 100 in TIME and CL mocks. I need to clear some doubts on overall functional aspects. Please help with this.
1. Is it still possible for me to get into a reputed institute by targeting any exam ? If yes, please suggest what exam should I target ?
2. What are some basic things those I need to learn which forms base of any management entrance exam ?
3. If I can not get into any college this year, will it be fine for me to attempt next year's CAT and other exams ? Or should I try for one year MBA then due to high work experience ?
4. Some of my friends suggested me to try for GMAT. Is the GMAT worth a try as very few colleges in India accept GMAT scores ?
I know the post is lengthy but if you guys answer this will help me and lot of others who are too shy to ask. Thank you.

Ankur and Manu same time from KFC and CCD resp. towards each other with speeds in ratio of 5:9. As soon as one reaches at either place, he turns back. If distance between 420m, at what distance from KFC will they meet when Manu be on his 13th round?
P.S. Again hard luck, Tried to figure that after first round they both together would travel 2*420. For 13th round they would have travelled 25*420 in the ratio of their speeds. My answer comes out to be 30m which is not even in the options. 🙈
