Both the Central Railway and the Western Railway declare the following norms regarding the luggage allowed to be carried by a person:

2)Two adults
3)Three children
4)Three adults
Hi! Please explain this one. The HCF and LCM of 2 numbers are 33 and 264 respectively. When the first number is divided by 2 the quotient is 33. The other number is ??
a) 66 b) 132 c) 198 d) 99
Now I get the solution that is HCF X LCM = a X b
= 33 x 264 = 66 x b
hence b = 132
But the problem that i face is basically this.
So the numbers are 66 and 132 which we got through our answer. But if we see HCF of 66 and 132, it comesout to be 66 not 33(as mentioned in question) and LCM comes out to be 132 not 264(as mentioned in the question). HOW????
Can someone please explain the solution.
