Slot 2 DILR
Set on ratings of tea from Munnar, Waynad, Darjeeling etc. As per my memory, following were the ques and my responses to them.
1. second largest rating- 7
2. No. of cup in which tea from OOTY is kept- 3
3. Rating of tea from Munnar- 6
4. Which of these staement is correct- Assam tea is in 1st cup.
Guys, any idea on these questions?

Guys. ..anybody preparing for iift? M scared of the gk section guys. ..If sth is asked regarding events related to 2017 then it's OK. ..but m uncomfortable with the other sorts of questions .
As per my research, this year DI.LR is Hilarious. I collected raw score scaled score and percentage from my seniors who appeared for past three years and here is my obervation.
CAT 2015.
In 2015 CAT, there were 13 sitters in DI/LR section. You can solve the 13 in less then 20 minutes. One more set is pretty doable, but not sitter.
In 2015, one guy attended only 8 questions (100% accuracy). He got 56.32%
The one who attened 10 question got 73%.
So literally if you have attend all the sitters, you will be scoring over 80%.
CAT 2016 DI/LR.
It's very tougher then CAT 2015. Here only 6 sitters were there. Rest of the sets are very much time-consuming.
One attend 4 questions (100% accuracy). He got 63.27%
One attend 6 questions. He got 78.xx %
So here also if your answer the sitters, you will sail over 70%
Here comes 2017 DI/LR
There are not even one sitter in the whole section. A lot of people were doomed, just by picking one wrong set.
With no sitters, I seriously wonder the score to cross over 70%. Literally it will be very very low as of my research. It will be more or like the result of 2013 (50% FOR RAW SCORE OF 0) as per one of my friend who is a official in TIME.
In Slot 1, was the question of sphere and cylinder an mcq or TITA. and if mcq, do anybody knows options? I am confused if there was 4 in the option or not
Slot 2 there was a question that the person bought some candies of one type and some other candies of another type.... If anyone remembers the full question and answer options please post here....

Did everyone think their quant had gone really well and then came here only to realise that they screwed the last step in 3-4 ques or didn't read the ans was asked in meters or is it just me? (Verbal bacha le)
