Hello CAT aspirants,

Can anyone provide me solved CAT 2012 paper?

It has been 1 year! 29th November 2015, I remember how nervous I was, despite knowing that my preparation is up to the mark. I understand that most of you will be nervous, and you should be, for a little bit of anxiety never lets you get complacent. However, do remember that if you have worked hard enough, and you keep a calm head on the 4th of December, you will, most likely, end up on the better side of the 99th Percentile.

As far as the last minute tips go, I have nothing much to add to what @Never_settle has already said. I do expect a tough DILR section (Purely my opinion, though). Having said that, I also believe that a tougher section is better for the well prepared. So don't fret if you see questions that are not from your comfort zone. If you have been doing well in mocks and you find the questions tough, rest assured that everybody is having a hard time attempting them. Don't overattempt just for the sake of attempting in such a section. I attempted only 18 questions in the DILR section last year, one of which was definitely incorrect, and I ended up with 99.54 in DILR. So, in case you encounter a tougher than expected section, don't panic. It is never as bad as it looks.

IIFT is done. Some of you would have performed really well, while others might not be too satisfied. My advice: LET IT GO. CAT and IIFT are two entirely different ball games and there is no point in correlating performances in both the exams.

Another word of advice. Don't think about how you did in the previous section or what would you do in the next. Give undivided attention to what is presented on the screen. Each one of you must have developed your own test taking strategy in terms of time management, what to attempt and what not to and stuff like that. So I don't find any reason for you to tinker with that based on what I say, and hence, I would avoid saying anything about all these things.

I wish all of you all the very best! Do remember, the effort is most definitely worth it. Hoping to see some of you at IIMA next year.

Good Luck! Do Well!  :)

For the last 5-day strategy, should I give the real time mocks regularly or simply revise all the previous mock questions in quant? what should be the strategy for DI-LR as well?

Please see the solution given.  The time for 17 rounds should be sum of all 17 rounds. Given answer is the time for 17th round only, right?
