There are two approaches for this can anyone explain both the approaches
1st approach
[x + [(x*2*1)/100]] + x =808
2nd approach
[x/(1+(2/200)]+[x+(1+(2/100))^2] = 808

How to solve this by alligation ?
There are 560 pen, and they are divided into 3 categories, and them at a profit of 12%, 16% and 20% respectively. Profit made from first two categories is 13% and overall 15% profit made all categories.
