Hey Guyzzz!!!Can anyone plz tell me whether are there any test centre in hyderabad for CFA exam.I'm planning to go for CFA L1 june 2013.And whether the exams of all the subjects of CFA L1 will be conducted on single day or not???
@kunalicici Hi Kunal ! I am based in Chandigarh. I had not taken any classes, but I subscribed to Video Lectures of Kaplan for L2. These are really helpful and you play them repeatedly and you can select which concept to repeat.
I'll try and write a detailed post on my study plan and my experiences. Maybe they are of help to you.
Guys, I want advice. Does it make sense to do CFA after you have experience or even a graduate can do it? What I want to know is, will a person without job experience learn anything since he may not be able to understand the implication.

yes, a person without job experience will be able to understand the implication..there is no doubt that job experience will make great difference but a fresher even can opt for it..
i myself will be appearing for the exam being a fresher ...
@abcdelhi Hi ! Frankly speaking it does not make a difference, whether you do with or without job experience. What you need for a tough nut like CFA is deep commitment and self motivation. You can start with CFA whenever you have tons of both. . . Good luck.
PS: You need 4 years of full time work-ex in investment management to earn the charter.

Beta of SML is not 1, SML is plotted against beta and all the portfolios lying on SML are compared against beta because beta of 1 implies riskless profit.
Hi, I lost original CFA L1 mock exams downloaded from various websites as my hard disk crashed a few days back. Can any one pls share the mock exams issued by CFA institute from previous years? I would really appreciate if some one could share those. Many thanks, KV
I have just completed my MCom and planning to appear for CFA Level 1 in June 2013. Would it be helpful as a first degree? I mean most pple doing CFA have already some other professional qualification. Would it be fine to do it as the main professional qualification? Or should i look up some other degrees?
Please help urgently as i plan to register before Sept 19, 2012
