I had ordered Schweser notes from Om Copy in Mumbai. The quality is not good. Especially the examples in boxes are unreadable.

Can someone please suggest a place where I can get a good copy of the Schweser L1 notes in Bangalore. Even if it is Mumbai and they courier it is fine - but the quality of the notes should be great.

@FeRMioN Dont know ab that buddy. But you can get a pdf copy.

The certifications provided by NSE as well as BSE are short term courses...it will add value to your CV, as it increases your knowledge level in finance...and if you are planning to give cfa, it has immense value as it is almost a 4-year course(long term)...so go ahead if you have interests in Investment Banking ,Equity research,etc..

i am a grad.. is it worth going for bse/nse courses rather than a regular mba. planning to give cfa l1 in dec 2013

certifications from bse and nse will help, but you need to have 4 years W-ex for obtaining chartered...so if you clear l1 make sure to have a job in your hand

Hey,

A person working in Pristine had told me that it is possible for us to postpone our Level-1 examination, as in from June13 to Dec13 without any extra charge to be paid. Is it true? I'm working right now and planning to give the exam this June13, but still apprehensive. Please comment. Did you guys hear anything like this before? Is there any official confirmation for this?

well, cfai have mentioned about the work experience in qualified investment...so we can consider the profiles of business analyst, data analyst or any other finance related jobs which generally CA people do as relevant

Please remember that not "all" finance experience is relevant for CFA charter. Check CFAI website for details.
