i m preparing & planning to give level 1 in dec. & also facing the same quires as shrey1990.
i m studying FSA & completed few chapters.



most important concern is can level 2 preparation b completed till june from jan12 than only it makes some sense to take the risk of giving level 1 in dec. when time in hand is less.


ronnie987 as u said that many have done this earlier can u pls say how much efforts/time does it require daily to prepare good for level 2 in june12.


y i have raised this query is since i m not able to put more than 4 hrs daily bcoz of other obligations.
since u all have prepared level2..u r in better position to answer this query.


Also, is the time enough from here to prepare level1 in dec11 putting 4hrs. daily.


i m from finance background & well with basics of it.


plz answer this query.

Hi Megha,

In my opinion, 5 months are more than enough for level 2 prep if you can put in 10-14 hours a week. I think a lot depends upon your approach towards the prep. If you think that you are not able to take out more time, focus on schweser books and refer to the CFA material only when you face a problem in a particular topic. In my opinion, no matter how you prepare for the L2, if by the month of may you are able to solve all Schweser and CFA books questions, .
However, my advice to you would be to focus on level 1 for the time being. From my personal experience I can tell you once you clear L1 in Dec, your confidence level will rise and you would not think twice before enrolling for level 2.
So, study hard girl!!

i got level 1 result approx 8 PM
they send emails in lots i believe

24 hrs left for the result....Gosh!! Though i almost know wat it is gonna be....confident level is low this time as compared to last year!!! Bt all said and done....hope is wat keeps one going....So , Fingerzz Crossed !!

Oh man! today is the result day. Not able to focus at my work. Terribly nervous, although i know that im not going to make this time. Whatever the result is, i want the result to be out as soon as possible.
Still can't forgive myself for the poor prep for L-2. :drinking::drinking::drinking:

EST: Eastern Standard Time (USA & Canada). What's the actual current time now in EST? ( EDT in Summer)
