Can you plz tell where u have got schweser xerox in Rs. 1000/1400 including courier charges.
Laxmi xerox is askin for 1900.

Done with two SS of Equities. Trying to rush through Schweser to gain psychological advantage(i sledge CFA text books) of having made a dent in mammoth syllabus. Will start EOC qs Jan onwards. Read 5 SS in all.

i am far behind..finished 2 chapts of fra and almost done with 3rd ..and this is round 1..which is about just reading 2-3 times from cfai notes...i have other commitments so less time.. hoping to catch up later

You are not far behind. FRA text is the real deal of L2. I have Sat and Sundays off, so may be that helps, else I work full time.

If you have noticed each SS is nearly about 170-200 pages in text books. That's an insane quantity. If you are able to read through all that, then it's great, else I recommend a mix of text and Schweser(learnt from my mistakes in L1, was totally text-oriented, looked down upon Schweser, and then begged for Schweser books in last 2 months...L1 had approx. 150 pages per SS).

but then different strategies for different people...rastey anek...bhagwaan ek..CFA!!!

I enquired about Schweser notes in Laxmi Xerox Centre in mUmbai....they say it costs 1200 + 400 (delivery charges for outsation - jabalpur in my case).....lease lemme knw is thta rily the cost?? Just want to cross check before I order!!!

Dear,

as time passes they increases price...in the begining it were 1000 rs. thn 1200 rs. thn 1400. n more...courier chrg extra...depending on location..

the last price at which i bought is 1400. rs. w/o courier..n bargained 100. rs.

so its almost like their monopoly ....diff time, diff price to diff. people..

Yes, u can give both level together in june, as my friend did last year.

WTH. NO. You cannot give both at the same time. Both L1 and L2 are 6 hr exams. You can finish L1 and L2 in one yr though. L1 in Dec and L2 in June.

No, one can not attempt both levels in June because in June all 3 level exams are conducted simultaneously on the same day.

I am appearing for CFA level 2 June 2011 but I have schewser notes for June 2010 exam. Does anyone have idea on what all SS/LOS substantial changes have been made? OR you will recommend going with new content?

I have the same question, though I don't think there's much change from what I have read on net(analystforum, I think). One big change is the addition of Study Session 1 to FRA.

I am planning to join some coaching institute for June Level2 preparation.
Which all institutes are good for the same?
Also, let me know if anybody else is also planning to take coaching as most of the coaching institutes offer group discounts. So we can avail that benefit if we enroll together

Also, is there anybody preparing for Level2 from West Delhi? I am from Paschim Vihar. I believe that it would be a good idea to have a small study group.
