Without any second thought go for onsite.
@santraz
Gr8888!!
I have also one example with me that realy changed my mind ..
@santraz it was shear frustration... nothing great bro... was in TCS... hope i get job this SSC.. or will have to joib BANK PO... which i dun wana...

@lapulga but one of my friends works at Post office and confirmed me its 5 days...if some work is pending he may work on saturday...but it totally depends on IPO....
@abhishekgcet u vl get CSS for sure no need to worry abt IP......
@abhishekgcet leaving IT would depend on the kind of work you are doing...although i havent heard great things about inspector of post...but i have heard good things about IT professional.

This might be coz i was a btech from NITs, thus my circle has remained good
@suzu12345 bro I also work with TCS.
I can assume it is frustating but it is never wise to give up job without completing bond period.
BTW a tough decision I respect it :)
@abhishekgcet yeah unwise...but jaan hae toh jaahan hae...lol
@chillex may be for that ...but believe me...currently most of the works in IT full of shits...not only in a single organization...my frnds are there in diff organizations...the picture is more or less same......though I must not say..its totally dull but yes..you have to have some luck for having some great project...and cream of IT has gone now...rest depends on individuals.....
@chillex Yes..I am agree..after too much introspection I will say short term perspective it looks quiet lucrative but long term I will say big noooo specialy when you are not a software geek..
Thats y I want to get into govt sector.. future plan for IAS but if I could not make it then I should have something in my hand so I will not regret why should I leave IT sector..

@suzu12345 hahahahahah
JAAN HAI TO JAHAN HAI..
kya bhai aisa kon sa kaam mil jata tha jismen jaan ka khatra ho :)
@abhishekgcet
@ Santraz

Its always good to have a good backup, i know many of my frnds earning above 15 lacs. I myself was recruited at 16 lacs in IT (but i hated it and left it). so this was the good part.
I now work with MNC bank in finance

Another part is one of my cousin started with a shittiest kind of IT, but then his luck worked and he is earning more than 40 lacs a annum.

I by no mean is defending IT. I am trying to give you pointer to weigh out each option.

but if you want to do IAS, you may not again get time in inspector of post.

But i can assure you one thing that coming 4-5 years are very good for indian MNCs
@chillex
Thanks for sharing such info...How come coming 4-5 years are good for Indian MNCs?
My experience says Indian IT MNCs will make money until Chinese are not into picture and start grabbing projects at very low cost making tough competiton for us ..
Do u know hows inspector excise job?
5 days working or 6 days ?

what is this bhai cpf mein interviw cut off tha kya...
@rattle yeah.. ssc writes..check result of yesterday.. 25 % was the cut off marks for general category in sub inspector wala exam... check in write up... 1st paragraph
@abhishekgcet 4-5 good years!!! that information is something related to the field in which i am currently working, i wont say anything more. My first preferences are examiner and preventive officer.It would be a long discussion to decide pros and cons of a job. It also depends on individuals preferences.

Yes there was 25% cut off for SI in CAPF. Don't think a cut off of 25 will affect that much in CGL. Anything up to 35 is ok I guess?
