@sumam it was tweeted day before yesterday by ssc chief....if u read the notice 2012. it states the commission reserved the right to have the minimum qualifying marks in interview...

@dineshdinesh ist allocation mein jinko mila unko mila.. and a reserve list... after nominations from departments agar kisi nae na join karnae ka decide kiya which is usually a gud number toh then reserve list... walae bulayangae....
mere next interview wala ladka was civil service aspirant.. mains ikha tha... is bar usne.. excise gujrat mein tha... he was having 355 marks.. and had come for interview.. woh toh nai join karaegaa is bar... asae cases.. who get seats and dnt turn up... reserve list isliye hoti hae.. asin seats ko fill karnae kae liye..
@suzu12345 yar jo post khali reh jayengi unko reverse list mai consider kiya jayega kya??? i mean jaise hum sab ne sabhi states fill nehi kiye to lyk in gujrat tamilnadu post vacant reh sakti h.... vo post es list mai add hongi?

chief says there will be reserve list in NIP and TA also... i dun know what is the criteria they are going to fill the posts...

@rattle Any day PO is better than excise until and unless you are dead sure that you can not live in coastal areas. In non coastal areas where custom and excise is combined, people fight over custom related departments.
Promotion and especially powers are more in PO then excise.
