i m posted in Gujarat Customs so its a mix of desk n field. It is a Preventive Commissionerate and most of the ports are 24 hrs so its never 10 to 5

@curl no idea about CX but it also depends on which state you get.luckybychance has posted above that in Gujarat customs it is a mix of field & desk job & is also not 10-5 regular job.btw if you wanted CSS then why didn't you gave it preference over CX.

I got Auditor in C&AG; in Chhattisgarh I think it's better than Tax Assistant in CBDT? Isn't it? pLease clarify...

tax assistant in cbdt at andhra pradesh.. chalo kuch to sahi...

delhi me excise ki seats khali hain... wish i cud have that preference.....

if anyone got dissappointed in getting excise in guj . then its a big illusion.

excise inspector is far far better than iti. and if in states like gujarat .bhai iss se jyada kya kahu . maze karo and join happily.

iti ek saal me ek baar haath daalta. excise waalo ka to har ghante ka kaam h . samjha karo yaar
