As per tweet of chief for PO n Examiner even if a person hasn't opted for coastal states he would still be given the post. So with this logic I feel that our preference for these posts doesn't matter
@gauravvraj abhi kuch din pehle enforcement directorate ne hee rajasthan royals par 100cr kaa fine lagaya tha.ab isse aage kya bolu khud hee samajh jao kaisi post hai.:)

Hi puys..I have been a silent visitor to this thread all this while..I got Inspector of Posts in West Bengal which was my first state preference..my score was too low(409.25)..so with my score I would have got CSS or Div Accountant...apparently I did not qualify for CPT..so it was between IP and Div Accnt with same grade pay I screwed up my preferences and ended up with this..meanwhile I scored 71.24 in IBPS CWE-II(written+interview combined) which I assume would get me a PO job in the first iteration itself..could u guys plz suggest what should I do..go for Insp of Posts(which acc to most here is not very good :-)) or go for PO?

yeah I know last year they even provided state with result for PO n examiner but this year its changed and then tweet of sir concreted the fact that our preference doesn't matter nw for assistant posts, PO n examiner
@lakhanthakral waiting is quite huge in mumbai... cant say about nasik,pune ,etc.. but i suggest.. do join.. upsc pattern may change.. increased uncertainity.. so join.. there is no bond fees.. why wurry..
