It means if somebody has not opted anything he will be considered for TAs or if somebody has opted for posts in which he is not coming under merit... then also he will be automatically considered for TAs even if he has not opted for TA

Hi Guys, I have been following this discussion 4 lst 15 odd days... I have couple of questions to you guys spl to senrs..
1. I belongs to SC cat and as per the SSC keys, my score is 288.5 and if 294.75 if representations sent by some friends from this group is considered. €“ Do I stand any chance for interview post, as the last candidate (SC Cat) selected for interview post lst year scored 358 including interview marks.
2. What is the selection criteria for non-interview posts coz as per SSC, DEST is required only for the post of Tax Assistant. Will there a selection on the basis of cut-off only €Ś?
Any reply would be highly appreciated..

in pre 5 marks less than last year pre , in mains maths no space for rough works, exam pressure, time limitation and high standard than last year too, atleast 7 questins means 14 marks will matter, and in english minimum 5 marks less tha last year too, so total 5+14+5= 24 less than non interview frm last year , so cut off for ur from last year for non interview will go below 300 and u vl see this in result too
and one of my frnd is going to file a writ in supreme court against the reservation, we can see that there are many sc/sts who have scored marks near 140-145 in ssc pre , then what is the need to give them special treatment , as intelligent and weak persona re always there whether it is general , sc, obc, st , lets seee what will happen, any views welcome

Hi Dear Good Morning , yes you do stand a decent chance of getting int call and then a int post as well subject to your average performance in interview..
.... As for selection criteria for non int posts DEST is only for TAs if one has applied for it else for other ones only on the basis of cut off....
