gone through the medical just day before yesterday. BP, then height and weight, then urine test, then eye test+colour blindness test, then checking stomach by pressing and all, one IT or EXCISE inspector was also thr he also gone through the same medical, me TA. some LDCs were also present, they dint have to give colour blindness test.

I would request you to please give information in a bit more detail only about eyesight standards....kya general si checking hoti hai ya fir complete check up hota hai? i mean deep analysis karte hai kya? Is there any standards defined ki itni eyesight limit honi chahiye ,i mean for eg: (-4 ya -5) ....I ll be obliged if u give details .....and from which hospital ?

general one.. a board at the distance of about 20 feet and we have to study the alphabets. thats it. i dont know about any eyesight limit coz everyone thr was without spectacles and everyone passed it very easily. RAM MANOHAR LOHIA HOSPITAL DELHI

you are welcome. i dont think that would be a problem at all. perfect eyesight may be reqd in forces, i dont think anywhere else.
wil marks of both section are given or jus total marks in tier2 final list anyone answer pls

Brother i am asking ,because i have a medical rejection by one of the PSU of India. They screwd my life.
Dats y i was asking ki yahan test karte hai koi number chk karne ke liye ya nhi..

that is sad, which psu and which post was it? how can eyesight be such a big issue? do you have some serious defect in your eyes? i dont think there is any sense in setting a limit on the lens power like +4 or +5 etc.

Dude it was post of ET(Executive Trainee) in India's Most Reputed Maharatna ..I dont want to mention the name...Rejected just because eyesight was not within their so called "prescribed limits"...Dats y a bit worried this time....hoping to clear SSC-12 ,so asking for the procedure followed here

ok thats sad.. till now thr was nothin like no. checking in jobs which i told u.. wanna share with you, my brother had spectacles and he had SI in DP medical so he had a laser of eyes and got selected with 6/6 eyes.. its been three yrs now and no prob with eyes. you can have a laser its around 20000 i guess, taaki future mein aisa koi rejection na ho for such minor reason.. just a suggestion bcoz i know its horrible to get rejected for such reason.. tkcr.. :)
