@pathodia i did not say anything about color blindness. i just said that a little lower eyesight should not matter. look at the post again. i think it was mr anurag or someone who mentioned color blindness.

i was told by a member that its supposed to be mentioned on admit card but i went to SSC chandigarh today and they said it is not mentioned on admit card. please tell if you have this preference information on your admit card ALONG with your REGION.

please tell me about the order in which preferences are seen. for example if i have filled:
Post pref
1. Income tax inspector
2. Inspector excise
State pref
1. Delhi
2. Rajasthan
obviously my first choice will be iti in delhi. But if that post has already been filled which job will i be allocated to next. there are two options:
income tax in rajasthan OR excise in delhi
out of these two, which post will i be checked for?

Bhai, as per the knowledge i have acquired(from comments/posts of various puys), the process of allocation is Post1-Matching availability against states, the Post2-Against State.

hi pathodia dont wanna disappoint you but the truth is agar sab kuch normal tarike se chalega toh you may fail to get these jobs kyuki colour blindness ka test toh hoga hi hoga medical ke time. tumhe kuch toh karna hi padega thoda jhol jhal medical k tym to get through it.

ITI mein koi color blindness ka test nahi hotaa ...ek medical cert. cmo ka sign karwake dena hota hai bas

@pathodia PO, examiner or CBI SI mein colour blindness ka test hota hai...... excise insp. or AEO mein bhi shayad hota hai, pakka nahi pata ..... ITI, assistants or gp c ki kisi bhi post mein nahi hota ....
