no change is allowed. this is possible only if SSC gives a chance to fill preference order again.

hey guys ... my name is listed in non interview posts and tax assistant . can anybody please tell me how is tax assistant job and difference with interview based jobs ?? please .... is it good ?

A Debatable point....
If SSC would have considered options at this stage (i.e. who have not opted non int posts) then it would not have been possible to declare the results in a month's time...
Chief had already stated that those who have left blank choices or not opted non int posts would be allotted posts, if posts are left after allotting to those who have opted for them.
I think those peoples name were just there in the list to keep it simple........
When final allotment would be done, such people would be superseded by those who have opted non int posts even if they have lesser marks than such people(non opting).

yeah that may be the reason. But what's the guarantee that they would do like this only. May be till the result is announced they would have forgotten about this thing and further allocation being done only by the merit and not preference. At that time chief would have been busy in handing over taking over of charge to new one, so would he be able to do something at that time? That's the only question

May be it is due to the fact that on 14th ppl are having reexam, so to give them no idea about cut off, sectional, they have withheld the write up
