CGL 2012 Tier 2 Preparations and Results

Hi,
I have a few queries.. plz let me know if anyone has the answers
1. My name is in the interview list. Am I going to get any letter for Interview or the interview schedule will be updated on website?
2. I have given my exams in Bangalore but have post preferences in Northern Region. Where is my interview likely to happen..North or South..??
3. I filled my 1st post preference as CSS (undoubtedly out of ignorance), Can I miss that interview and be called up for Interview of other post (IT for example which happens to be my 6th prefernce..) ??

u willget letter for interview which will be held in southern region.

there is single interview for all the posts. posts are alloted after the interview. if u dont want css then dont attend cpt. u will not be considered for css. then u will be considered for ur other preferences. css is a good post. why u dont want to get css?

1 of my friends erroneously sat at other ticket no in cgl 12, but when he realised he had already filled answer sheet columns with black ink. he then shifted to his correct ticket no. and filled another answer sheet. his roll no does not figure in any result list. kindly help puys. he scored 107 in tier 1. is his result withheld for filling 2 answer sheet for maths paper. kindly advise what should he do??????

goshhh.. i can drown in confusion at dis moment..there is so much of it. Thanks anyways. Honestly, no idea about the posts. Someone told me IT is better than CSS. So, I believed it. I guess CSS is fine then. So, can I get CSS at around 370 overall in Delhi region?

PS1: Why is IT such a hype then, I had been feeling guilty since morning..
PS2: Little knowledge is a bad bad bad thing.

IT used to be a good pose earlier. now a days promotions are slow in it and workload more. css is only in delhi. wat is ur preference order for posts

@secretworld thank u bhai maine june 10 me cat ke liye apni job chhodi thi, na to usme kuchh hua aur ye last chance hai . isiliye main kisi type ka koi risk nhi le sakta.
ek bar score aane bad mai tumse dobara consult karta hu.

i also did not know much anout the posts and was told IT is better so filled it first. Is there a source where precise information is given about the job profiles of these posts. i have read about 20-30 pages of this thread and everyone has his own views about them. some say it is better some say excise is better some say css etc. someone said it has best promotion chances and here BJ00 says it has less :(

i am also confused beyond measure. but all this wont even matter now unless we are allowed to fill post and state pref again.

im sorry but what do you mean ' inspite of the pdf' the tier1 result has post pref mentioned in it but not the state pref if that is what you mean.

if your interview goes well i think you will make it to css in delhi. last time cutoff for the same was 412 marks.

The Admit Card(Admission/Entrance Ticket or whatever u cal it) anyone got for Tier 1 has all your preferences which you filled. No need to consult the PDF.
