@secretworld bhai ek baat aur.....ssc chief ne jab kaha h ki mid november mein CPT hoga to NOV end tak anyhow DEST ho hi jayega na becoz DECEMBER ki beginning mein i have my joining in a MNC for which i have to go to a far off state......it's very imp for me know this...plz do reply......

ho to jana chahiye i think cos in ny case dec starting week se shru ho jayega int process, although nothing cn be told with ny guarantee

But those people who want to earn extra income it is worst department.. This is what we have heard so far. as special unit keep track of Investigating officers.
and work pressure is enough. You will not get much time for studying but i am stil not much sure about it.
But reputation wise one of the best department where respect is there.
So guys be very careful while exercising options in option form of SSC as per your requiremnents.

i really like your routine, how long does this training last? did you join through cgl 11?will you be posted at a single place like a state cadre or is it an all india service with frequent transfers?
i used to think they (CBI) would be frustrated just running around mayawati, mulayam etc and not being able to do anything because of their political influence.
i am really impressed and interested in the work that you told in your second post (we have already attended sessions of investigators who has investigated cases of kandhar hijacking, david coleman, mumbai blast, abu salem etc...). i would be really interested in investigation of such issues. i want an interesting life and money is not the most important thing for me (left a corporate career and mba from a top b-school), after your description i think i would have a very satisfied life in CBI. But unfortunately i have filled Income tax inspector as first choice.
