sry 4 late reply just saw this msg of urs.. actually that list also contains all the OBC, SC, ST candidates jinke marks 349 se zyada hone ki wajah se they came under UR(for now), so actually around 2800 will fight for UR seats not just 2200.
@aRuN.seHrAWat this is unfare.. OBC shall take seats in ObC only and after general are filled they should the come under general. This old technique really ensure that that reservations increase to say more 51%. i will surely file a PIL against this... some day...
any tentative no. of examiner and preventive officer vacancies??

Dude! You need to realize that people in Ahmedabad want to be on top of the selection process and do not want your sole merit to be the deciding factor. In case of ssc it is not so and the months long selection process of several levels of exams is the deciding factor and hence the ratio is such that interview as such does not have the power over the whole process. Trust me the process as it is now is way better than someone having complete power over your being able to get into a post even after months of fight. Right now you fight in exams and get good enough marks then no one in interview is going to be able to stop you.

Bahut log vichar kar rahe hain iss par............
But this does not mean reserving 51%+ seats for SC,ST,OBCs.....
This is only to ensure that minimum of 49% come from quota......extra candidates selected fill the backlog...
Even I believe that the system is flawed,needs amendment and introspection...........
@Aanchal9431 DA have enoromous power in his division.u have given ur own cabin with all facilities like ac etc.u have to sign every money related bill and u have some share in every bill so u will earn.every person in the department called u SIR even engineer.so very respected job. trust me its the best job ssc offered.
@Aanchal9431 yeah.. system needs amendment but we need initiatives.. who will take trouble to go to SC as this matter need Constitutional invalidity to be proved in the apex court.We need initiatives. SOme day ...for sure... we will.. As filling PIL needs no advocates nothing...

bro same is the case with me....jst crossed borderline...but didn't fill in non int posts in my preference....so no chance this year....Need atleast 60+ in the interview to be hopeful of atleast some post , but chances are bleak...
any idea about promotionsand transfer policies for non interview posts???

Yar actullay this is still a premature thing and nothing can be said with surety. We once asked this question to Special Director CBI but he also said nothing is certain right now.

@Aanchal9431 it just means tht someone with ggood marks gave preference to auditor post to few interview posts. lemme explain..suppose some dont want inspector of posts or assistant in ministry of defence..so he wud give prefer auditor post to above mentioned 2 posts in his forms. may be a person with lesser marks than him get assistant in MoD or any interview posts. so its all about ur choice in application form..i hope doubt is clear

Yes you are partially true money wise and work pressure wise its one of the beast but only one promotion is there throughout your life i.e you will become DAO. and mind you no change of state is possible.

bhai life is unfare, ab reservation me tum kuchh nh kr skte. hmne isiliye bachpan me hi man liya tha ki jitni seats dikh rhi hain uski adhi vacancy hain.
