Bro can you tell me your reasons why you don't want to press for CSS post.I m in a similar situation as that of yours,so it wud be worth hearing your personal reasons.

Bhai bas yohe reason h pher te koi dikkat nhi.Delhi and corruption free environment are the two things I am looking for.Delhi not coz of coaching but because I belong to Haryana and corruption free becoz I can't survive in corrupted environs.But yes,the nature of the job which is stated to be clerical worries me.

@Y.Saharan Excise ki isi kae karan demand hae yaar.. i think babbar will also agree with me.IN CSS its not that u die of clerical work. A normal atmosphere of working is there. Hw many marks total..?? I have filled excise as my ist option too. CSS as second . lol.IN excise also u have dept work u are not always on field postings.

And more over i have -3.6 eye sight. Am i allowed to Excise????

@Y.Saharan yOU GOT GOOD MARKS.. man... Central sect toh pakki hae...just get 30 marks in interview which is for sure below avg as 45-50 are avg marks.. worst case bhi u will get CSS.. dun wurry

it was not printed on northwestern region admit cards.
i personally went to SSC chandigarh office to clarify and they said that they dont know about other offices but SSC chandigarh has not mentioned any pref on any admit card. i even tweeted ssc cheif ande he said they cant do much right now as SSC chd regional director is non-functional !! dont even know what that means...

hello suzu, please tell me why did you fill excise as no1 why not income tax inspector? is excise better that ITI ?
@trvg nO YAAR.. actually i saw ITI as grade c post... but then after some study found out ITI was with more promotions etc etc.. ITI is the most sought after job in SSc.. It was my mistake..when i filled SSc. i had no clue about other post than excise which my friend had got previous year.. but over a period of time.. i think CVC,IB. ITI,CSS,EXcise.. all are very good.
