I have just crossed the cut off for interview (350 in T1+T2). I have chosen every post but want posting in Delhi only. Tried to improve my typing speed but doesn't seem to be possible now.
1. What posts can I manage in Delhi with some average marks in interview?
2. I have been selected as Assistant in SBI. Should I join for the time being?

with average marks u can expect onl;y css all delhi post, but for that too try to do better than average. So go for cpt. In any case at this marks u can expect auditor in delhi if u don't get into css.
Its up to u. if there is no bond go for that as it would take another 8-9 months from now at least to get the joining for cgl12

My problem is CPT which makes my case weak for CSS. Anyway I would be fine with Auditor this year as this was my first attempt.
Average marks in interview was meant for Auditor in Delhi. I will give my best in interview but
Can I be sure of getting Auditor in Delhi even with average marks in interview?
if someone gives DEST, den wd he be considered fr TA only?

Auditor is nt a int post u wud be judged with ur 350 marks for Auditor n stay assured u wud get auditor in delhi only.

Is it true that Central Excise Inspectors rarely get 1 Promotion in their entire Career.
I have been dreaming about this post and came to know some indigestible facts about the Promotion Policy.
If any one knows the details of Promotion Policy ,please reply.
@rajeshbasha that's right dear. my uncle is in excise.. he got promoted just once during his 30 yr service.

true bhai even if u get second promotion it rarely exceeds one year for them. Many even become AC for 10 days 
@secretworld bro @ 371 marks I stand a chance for excise insp. I am in a dilemma, should I join or it's worth preparing for cgl13.

Already working in a bank since 2 Years and very happy with the Promotion Policy (Promotion in almost 3 Years carried with extra responsibilities and Inter Zonal transfers) but I'm not at all interested in Marketing .
So,thought of SSC and my First preference was Inspector Excise (SC 328.75 Marks). But after getting to know about the Job I'm thinking of giving a second chance of leaving my Current Job.

@harshlax yes u do but its up to u whether u want to join. Grass is always green on other side. So make ur mind. If u just want to have good promotion and NR go for CSS. No extra money but good reputation once u become Undersecretary

@secretworld don't want a single extra penny brother.. Messed up with the preferences so won't be getting CSS.. let's just hope for the best and maybe i'll fare better next time :)
