@maddyman : How do you know your DEST result? is it out yet or were you not able to type the complete passage?
Hi all .. my score 315 UR and I am selected for NIP and TA. I have given my DEST (it went fine :-)). I had only filled Delhi as locaton preference. Could anyone please tell me if there is any chance of me landing up a Job in delhi and also is there any chance that I get any other location despite the fact that I did not fill any other location?
Can anyone tell me if I have typed1930 keys with 5% error max and I am from OBC category with 306 marks.....is there any chance of clearing DEST or only those who have done 2000 key typed will clear.

difficult to say... as 70 keys missed + 5% error may reach 10% total agar thoda idhar udhar hua.. general ka to 5% hi error hai par i guess OBC ka 10% hai (normally)
to be 100% sure of clearing DEST, one must hv completed the passage before time and checked for mistakes in remaining 1-2 mins, agar aisa nahi hua hai toh just wait for the results and hope for the best.. kyuki kai bar toh beech ki lines hi skip ho jaati hain 1-2.. my brother last year left last 1 and a half lines and he couldnt clear (and last year 10% error tha for general i think)

cant be said as last year delhi TA was 321 and delhi JrAc was 319. you may or may not get TA or JrAc, anyone of these..
friends, i am going to join as inspector of posts in tamilnadu by next 2 months(thru cgl 2011) and in cgl 2012 i could manage only NIP .if i attend doc verfcatn it is likely that i may get auditor in my home state(maharashtra).but as i hv been told by many candidates, even if i would want to join auditor next year ,gettin NOC would be very difficult from postal deptt as i would be moving to lower paygrade.please suggest me whether i should go for doc verfctn or not.
those who donot qualify cpt are eligible for other post? or not?
