can anyone compare the number of vacancies and no of candidates in 2011 and 2012. will the cut off for tax asst go further below this year compared to 2011? pls any one reply.

if i join as auditor and serve for 1 year and then i join some interview post the next year..will i get the befenit of 1 year of service? (eg. in promotions etc)

not in promotions but in other things like getting accomodation, and carry forward of your NPS, holidays etc

Since his first option is Auditor , will he get any interview posts? I was once told that I would get my first preference only( if qualified for that post with sufficient marks). Could you please throw some light on this query ? Thanks in advance

he won't get anything else than auditor even if he tops the exam if his first preference is auditor

I actually didn't see that it was his first choice, even then he should attend the int. just for an experience.

I'm from General Category and have secured 306 marks only :-(

I have attended DEST skill test on 16th Nov,2012, keeping Tax Assistant in View. I did well in DEST.

I Opted for TA in all the available states. Is there any possibility for me to get TAX ASSISTANT job.
